Wuxi(無錫) locates on the south part of Jiangsu Province, lies in the heartland of Yangtze River Delta, adjacent Suzhou to the east. As a modern industrial city, Wuxi is one of the key cities of Yangtze delta commercial area. It is also one of the cities where Chinese national industry originated.  Rich in natural resources and cultural relics, Wuxi, meanwhile, is a famous historical tourism city in China. The history of this city can be dated back to Western Zhou Dynasty (11th century B.C), is the birth place of Wu Culture. Wuxi earned its nickname "Pearl of Lake Taihu" because it’s built on the shore of Lake Taihu in a scenic setting. Wuxi was also dubbed "little Shanghai" because of its close proximity to the city, rapid urbanization and booming economy. Wuxi also has a history of business people involved in modern Shanghai commerce since the early 20th century.
As one of the Top 10 tourism cities in China, Wuxi offers superb scenery and landscape for travelers from all over the world.

Lake Taihu (太湖, literally "Grand Lake"), is a large lake in the Yangtze Delta plain, on the border of the Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces Eastern China. The waters of the lake belong to the former in its entirety with part of its southern shore forming the boundary between the two provinces. With an area of 2,250 km² and an average depth of 2 meters, it is the third largest freshwater lake in China, after Poyang and Dongting Lakes. The lake houses about 90 islands, ranging in size from a few square meters to several square miles. Lake Taihu is linked to the renowned Grand Canal and is the origin of a number of rivers, including Suzhou Creek. In recent years, Lake Tai has been plagued by pollution as a result of rapid economic growth in the surrounding region.

Li Garden(蠡園)covers an area of 8.2 hectares. It is said that Fan Li who was a prime minister of the Yue State in Spring and Autumn Period (770 BC - 476 BC) was very meritorious in helping the king to conquer Wu state. However, he has decided to live in privacy with Xi Shi (one of the Four Beauties in ancient China) after the big success was achieved. They lived in this area and boated in Li Lake. The garden is surrounded by water on three sides. The scenery in the garden can be divided into three sections: Man-made hills in the middle section, the scenic spots such as long dike and Four Seasons Pavilions in the west section and abundant spots including Spring and Autumn Pavilion and long corridor in the east section.

The Grand Buddha (靈山大佛) is located at the south of the Longshan Mountain, near Mashan, town of Wuxi. It is one of the largest Buddha statues in China and also in the world. At more than 88 meters high, the Grand Buddha at Ling Shan is a bronze Sakyamuni standing Buddha outdoor, weighing over 700 tons. It was completed in the end of 1996. In 2008, a "Five-signet" Palace and a Brahma Palace were built south-east of the grand buddha statue.

Three Kingdoms City(三國城) Located in the southwest suburb of Wuxi City is the Three Kingdoms City, which is one of the CCTV Television Bases, and a renowned tourist attraction. The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, a historical TV series, was filmed there. The title, Three Kingdoms, refer to Wei (220-265), Shu (221-263) and Wu (229-280) which were the three rival powers during the period of Three Kingdoms.
Covering an area of about 35 hectares (86 acres), the Three Kingdoms City is a Han Dynasty (206BC-220) style structure. In order to film the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, a series of buildings were needed to be built there. These include the King of Wu’s Palace, the Ganlu Temple, the Caocao’s Army Camp on Land and Waterside, the Seven Star Altar and the Stunt Performing Court for Big Fire at Red Cliffs. These buildings have all become celebrated tourist spots.
